“Folklore Fusion” is a transmedia project exploring the meeting point between Swiss and Japanese cultures through a cast of CGI hybrid creatures called Swijūs designed by ECAL students. The project unfolds across multiple formats, including augmented reality, a website, a printed publication, and a collectible card game.
My main contribution focused on the design and development of the playing cards. This 56-card set was created in bilingual Japanese-English versions and featured custom rarity levels, holographic finishes, and AR-enabled interactions. Each card extended the mythology of the Swijūs while offering a playful and tactile entry point into the broader universe of the project.
I've also produced animated content for the Milan exhibition.
